Below are some frequently asked questions about our Boat Trips.

Where do I get on boat at Portstewart?
Portstewart pickups at harbour on the promenade - BT55 7AY

Where do I get on for Portrush harbour?
Portrush pickups at harbour in front of yacht club, meet at green gate at top of pontoon - BT56 8DF

Where do I get on at Ballycastle?
Meet at Green gate at the carpark next to Bay Cafe, you will see Aquaholics sign on the fence - BT54 6BT

Is there inside seating?
We have inside and outside seating but do always bring coat, outdoor clothing.

How many persons on your boats?
We can carry up to 12 passengers and 2 crew on each vessel.

Can I bring a dog?
Only on private charters when you have hired the vessel solely for your group.

Can we jump in for a swim?
Yes! On a scheduled shared trip we usually have time for a short swim at the skippers discretion. On private charters you can swim as often as you like if skipper is happy with conditions.

Can we bring food, drinks and alcoholic drinks?
Yes not problem with above, Small amount of Alcohol in moderation and no one allowed on board if drunk or under influence of drugs/alcohol. No swimming if any alcohol taken.

How fast do the boats cruise at?
Our vessels are modern with twin engines, cruise speeds are around 17-18knots enabling us to cover good distance in the allocated time.

Will the trip leave with out me?
Please aim to arrive in plenty of time and allow amble time for parking especially at weekends and bank holidays. Yes we have a schedule to try to keep so please arrive 10-15 minutes before hand.

Can I get refund if I do not turn up or missed the trip?
No refunds sorry.

Is there a toilet on board?
Yes each boat has one sea toilet.

Can I cancel or change booking?
On scheduled trips within 72 hours of booking no changes allowed. If you wish to change outside of this period please do email us with requirements and we will try to resolve. Private charters no cancellation or change.

What should I bring with me?
Outdoor coat, sunscreen, snack or drink depending on length of trip. Camera , binoculars, Swim suit and towel if swimming.

What if the sea is too rough?
If our Skippers decide the trip will be unsafe we will of course offer full refund or reschedule.

 Is it easy to get in and out of the water if swimming?
Each boat has electric lift that can lift you in and out of the water, no climbing over the side of boat or up ladders is needed.
